What the Cast of Lost Girl is Doing Now

Kris Holden-Ried and Athena Karkanis in ‘She Came Back‘
Kris Holden Ried (Dyson in 77 episodes) is realtor Ken Armstrong in Valerie Buhagiar‘s horror mystery THE DOGS, based on the 2015 novel of the same name by Allan Stratton. To escape her possibly psychotic ex-husband who she thinks is stalking her, Katherine Weaver (Kathleen Munroe) and her son Cameron (Donovan Colan) move into an isolated farmhouse. Once there, Cameron begins to hear the voice of a boy named Jacky (Asher Grayson), who might be a ghost, but could just as easily be a product of Cameron’s imagination. THE DOGS can be streamed on The Roku Channel.
Holden-Ried is also lighthouse keeper Thomas Coyle in THE WAY HOME, a series created by created by Heather Conkie, Alexandra Clarke, and Marly Reed, about a family divided by, among other things, a pond in the woods that doubles as a time portal. Ksenia Solo (Kenzi Malikov in 67 episodes) is Sarah Mathis in Bennet De Brabandere’s 2025 sci-fi horror feature RAPTUS. When the program doesn’t seem to be working, Sarah disables safeguards built into the android (Nolan Gerard Funk), and things spiral out of control.
Benjamin Poole of The Movie Waffler commented: “With the clean, modernist interiors of Sarah’s home and the camera’s framing of Funk, Raptus adopts a male homosexual gaze, a visual idiosyncrasy which suits the off-kilter genre approach.” RAPTUS can be streamed on TUBI.
Zoie Palmer (Dr. Lauren Lewis in 73 episodes) made her second appearance on MURDOCH MYSTERIES as suffragette Lucy Renshaw in “Bombshells”, (Episode 1811). As the episode begins, Detective Murdoch (Yannick Bisson) and Dr Ogden (Hélène Joy) are walking past a London storefront when it explodes, nearly killing them. Inside the building a suffragette is found dead, but Julia’s autopsy reveals that the woman was dead before the explosion.
There was a real life Lucy Renshaw. In an article titled “The Eminent Lesbian or the Passionate Spinster? Posthumous Representations of Amelia Edwards’ Love for Women”, Bianca Walter states: “Amelia Edwards embarked on a journey to Italy. Somewhere between Rome and Naples, she met the woman who was to become her travelling companion for the next few years: Lucy Renshaw (1833-1913), an unmarried, freedom-loving woman of independent means.”
